Why I hate Valentines day! LOVE IT OR LOATHE IT!
I HATE VALENTINES DAY. BECAUSE IT IS A PRESSURE TO BUY GIFTS AND MONEY MACHINE FOR BUSINESS PROPERTIES.
🔊Take your risk to read more. Otherwise.. SCROLL DOWN.. AND SKIP.
ON A VALENTINES DAY, MANY PEOPLE JUST THINK OF CONSUMING STUFF AND CONSUMING FOOD.
AND WOMEN TEND TO BE BOUGHT FOR A DAY.
WHY NOT DO IT EVERYDAY? HMM? It IS MERELY A CONSUMERS DAY…
MANY SPEND A LOT MORE MONEY ON STUFF TO BUY THAN GIVING YOUR TIME TO YOUR LOVE ONES HOLDING THEIR HAND AND TELLING THEM THE WORDS WITHOUT A STUFF IN BETWEEN…
WE TEND TO IGNORE THE SIMPLE THINGS OF TRUE LOVE AND MEASURES IT WITH MATERIAL THAT FADES AWAY.
We express our care through the things we can buy and not with the precious emotions we wanna say.
Human can be so hypocritical just to adjust on MANLY EVENTS.
🙄IF WE ARE TRUE TO OURSELVES, WE ACTUALLY DON’T GAIN MUCH ON A VALENTINES DAY BUT A STUFF THAT TAKES A LOT OF SPACE AND A SMALL MEMORY OF A PARTICULAR DAY THAT SUPPOSEDLY DONE IN OUR DAILY LIVES.
IF WOMEN WERE SPECIALLY TREATED AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK OR ONCE A MONTH, OR JUST TO BE APPRECIATED.. THEN THE DEMANDS OF BOUQUET AND CHOCOLATES WOULD COLLAPSE ON A MARKET.
But since Valentines is a CONSUMER AND BUSINESS PLAN.. Then THE STORES AND FLOWER SHOP EARNS THIS DAYS MORE THAN THE OTHER HOLIDAYS.
Let’s go to History:
Don’t you know that VALENTINES DAY derived from ROMAN TRADITION.
traced back as far as the 6th century B.C. It was first called LUPERCALIA..
Every year on February 15, the festival began by going to the Lupercal (the legendary site where Romulus and Remus were suckled) and sacrificing a dog and a goat.
St. Valentine was a priest who lived around February 14 270 AD VALENTIN DIED in Rome and attracted the disfavor of Roman emperor Claudius II who ruled during this time.
The story of St. Valentine has two different versions – the Protestant and the Catholic one. Both versions agree upon Saint Valentin being a Bishop, who held secret marriage ceremonies of soldiers in opposition to Emperor Claudius II who had prohibited marriage for young men and become soldiers instead of marrying. Due to his ceremonies of secret marriages he then was sentenced to death. While Valentin was imprisoned due to his disobedience to the Emperor. Valentin was visited by the Emperor Claudius yet Valentin DID NOT RECOGNISE THE ROMAN GOD AND did not agreed to BAN MARRIAGES ON YOUNG MEN and EVEN tried to convert the Emperor into Christianity.. He became a martyr for refusing to renounce his religion and beliefs. TODAY, ROME do not talk so much about HIM because ALL GLORY BELONG TO ROME and not the God of ISRAEL.
THERE’S A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GOD OF ABRAHAM ISAC AND JACOB.. THAN TO THE gods of Rome
LATER after the death of ST Valentin, it WAS systematically Christianised through celebration LUPERCALIA where Rome Celebrates FERTILITY OF LAND AND WOMEN. THEY SACRIFICE GOATS FOR FERTILITY AND DOGS FOR PURITY. DEDICATED TO THE GOD OF AGRICULTURE FAUNUS. THEN SLAP THE BLOOD ON WOMEN AND FIELDS BELIEVED TO HAVE GOOD HARVEST AND CONCEIVE CHILDREN.
LATER a Pope criticised these events and was outlawed to be “UN CHRISTIANED” circa 494 CE, Pope Gelasius wrote a letter criticizing Christian participation in it.he replaced it with celebration to Valentines day commemorating the Valentin of Rome martyrdom. but in the end of all this story… Pope Gelasius is not even believed to be true in his replacement of the said celebrations because… There are still some of “love” consuming act effects on the celebrations like sex, drunkenness, giving gifts and sometimes violence.
Now you know.
THE ONLY THING I LOVE IN FEBRUARY IS THE BIRTHDAY OF MY LOVE ONES.
VALENTINES.. SUCKS! AND I NEVER DEMANDED MEN I’VE MET TO SPEND A PENNY FOR ME ON VALENTINES DAY.. COZ FOR ME VALENTINES IS JUST A PRETENTIOUS DAY..
THIS IS A PERSONAL OPINION. ANYONE WHO CAN’T AFFORD TO ACCEPT THAT.. CAN GO TO THE DOWNSIDE OF THE UNIVERSE. 🙄😠😜
